I've been thinking about Dominion's defamation lawsuit against Fox News and hoping against hope that Dominion prevails and takes Fox down - not to simply take them to the mat, but also to drain their bank account, gouge their eyes out, stick red hot steel needles under their fingernails, and kick the shit out of them them until they lay silent and lifeless. But all of that would be too good for them.
Instead what the judge and jury should do is to force each one of their so called "stars" to come on their shows during prime time and read an apology statement and admit that they lied. Just so they can't whitewash it, the statements would be written by the judge. The jury could even go so far as to say, "OK keep the $1.6 billion and we won't torture you, but you have to read these statements". And.....you can never, ever, promote the "big lie" on your programs again. And....if you do, you immediately get sent to solitary confinement in a blackened cell with a cold concrete slab for a bed and with Metallica songs played at full volume 24/7 for the rest of your natural born lives.
Only then might we have a prayer of a chance of saving our Democracy....
