Jim Jordan's House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government held its first hearing yesterday to allegedly expose the politicization of the FBI, the DOJ, and attacks on American civil liberties.
None of the witnesses produced any evidence to support Jordan’s claims, so he came up empty handed.
It’s not surprising. The intent of the hearings is not to discover any wrongdoing, but instead to score political points as Jordan indicated himself when he said in August of last year that an investigation would “help frame up the 2024 race, when I hope and I think President Trump is going to run again. And we need to make sure that he wins.”
Aaron Rupar of Public Notice mused: “It is a bit odd to me that Fox News isn’t carrying the 'weaponization’ hearing live, since it is basically Fox porn.
