These are words the Biden Administration does not want to hear. The President turns 81 today.
Sadly ageism is alive and well in America, not only in the workplace (particularly in high tech), but in politics as well.
It seems that all you hear and read these days is that Biden is too old to be president, and it may very well cost him his re-election.
The elderly are revered in many cultures for their widom, particularly in the Native American culture, but the rest of the country seems to have a different mindset.
We tend to want to hide old people and throw them away to languish in a treatment facility or a nursing home where the care is often marginal.
Utah Phillips described this best in one of his songs that I play often, "All Used Up".
