In the words of his supporters, 38 year old aspiring presidential candidate and full-of-himself rich kid Vivek Ramaswamy “talks good”.
That’s about all he does.
It seems that this Trump 2.0 character, who hails from an Indian Upper Caste (don’t get me started on that one), also has a similar penchant for lying.
Much like the person he’s trying to emulate, he’ll deny having said stuff, even when it’s on the record, and when he’s called on it, he talks good some more while his very personae bubbles with the exuberance of a 19 year old having just left the brothel for the first time.
Fellow Republicans cringe when he says he wants to allow the Russians to keep the Ukrainian territory they’ve already seized, or let China have Taiwan, or disband the FBI. Remember the GOP’s disdain at the “Defund the Police” mantra?
Democrats cringe when he says he would Pardon Trump on his first day in office, and then go on to eliminate the Education Dept. and Nuclear Regulatory Commission while supporting the failed "trickle down economics" theory.
Being a president takes more than just being able to talk good.
It takes not being a punk.
