Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election fair and square, as did Joe Biden in 2020.
According to Chris Krebs, a lifelong Republican appointed by Trump to head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency, and confirmed unanimously by the Senate, the 2020 election was the "most secure in American history".
He was immediately fired by Trump for making that statement.
But yet in spite of all the evidence, millions of people still believe the last election was "stolen".
Why? Simply because the former president says so.
As a result, hundreds of election workers have decided to call it quits and not work the 2024 contest because of intimidation and death threats.
In my mind, if we lose the integrity of our elections, we've lost everything.
Our vote is all we have.
