General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is a Princeton University graduate with a master’s degree in International Relations from Columbia University, and a master’s degree from the U.S. Naval War College.
He retires today at 65 after serving for 44 years.
He is reviled on the right for comments he made after Donald Trump drug him unwittingly to Lafayette Square on June 1, 2020 to threaten Black Lives Matter protesters.
Although he left soon after he realized that he was being used as a prop, Milley apologized later for the incident and defended the BLM movement saying the military had to do a better job of combating institutional racism that exists in the armed forces, 43% of whom are people of color.
In his taxpayer funded newsletter, Arizona Representative Paul Gosar called the Chairman a “homosexual promoting BLM activist”, a “deviant who was coordinating with Nancy Pelosi to hurt President Trump” and wrote, “in a better society, quislings like the strange sodomy promoting General Milley would be hung.”
Tucker Carlson called Milley a stupid pig on his show before he was fired.
Milley has said that if Trump is re-elected, the former president would start throwing his enemies in jail and that he would be at the top of the list.
