For those of us who closely follow current events, last night’s news was a historical bombshell - for the first time in the history of our country, a former President of the United States has been indicted in Federal Court. More charges may be coming.
It’s no secret that I’ve been obsessed with Donald Trump and his impact on society and culture, not only in our country, but around the world.
Since before he was elected president in 2016, I’ve believed this man was, and still is unfit for that office, and I struggle to understand how Trump still has the support of fully one third of the American people.
My view is that this group consists of those whose unprecedented wealth is a direct result of his policies and who care little for the well-being of our country, those who think this man was ordained by “God” and will continue to carry out “his will” (whatever that is), but more importantly, those who are venting their anger and frustration at their own lives by living vicariously through a dishonest, pathetic, vindictive, sad little bully who was never given the tools to deal with his emotions.
This is someone who should not be in charge.
